RebelCon is a new not-for-profit, one day, technology conference in Cork, run by the developer community for the developer community.  RebelCon, has been organised by Poppulo, DesignWizard and IT@cork skillnet and will be hosted at the newly opened Republic of Work located on the South Mall.

Skelton Thatcher are pleased to say that team member Chris O’Dell will be taking part. Chris will be delivery the talk “You build it, you run it” which discusses the reasons, benefits and strategies for developers taking part in the on-call support for their applications.

The day will be keynoted by Ryan O’Reilly giving the talk “Shifting Gears and reaching for your potemtial”.  Other speakers include Pierre Vincent, who recently gave a very well received talk at PIPELINE in March.  Topics include Kubernetes, handling requests at scale, UX and developer collaboration, and tips for working with git.  The full schedule is yet to be announced, but it’s shaping up to be an interesting event.

Early Bird tickets are on sale at €50 (+€3.76 fee) until 28th May.
